Ive had some fun GPS apps on my iPhone that Ive used while snowboarding, but all I get out of them is mph etc. BUT the other day got wind of a new app called ski tracks...pretty much amazing, and only 99 cents...
Best feature on the app is the gps tracks of you runs, + you can upload them to google earth. Here a shot of some of my lines of Peak 5 at the canyons the other day

early season session
For the last two months all Ive wanted to do is get some turns in the snow, but due to school and just life, it hasn't happened. I usually ride at The Canyons, its a great resort for just your everyday needs. Has a pretty good park and lots of fun terrain, and just so much to explore. Every year I find something new.
However they just dropped the bomb this year and announced that they wont be opening till Dec 10! They are pretty much redoing the whole mountain so it is understandable, but with all this snow I just want to get on the slopes.
Me and fellow riding friends Darren Dickerson and Todd Lippard and a few others decided to go get some first turns of the season and hike up in Little Cottonwood Canyon's Grizzly Gulch.Prime spot for some powder.
Darren just picked up a new Hd GoPro. So we got a few shots to test it out. Here's some raw footage and photos from our last run
enjoy...

The only way to fly
Truly every skier and snowboarder dreams of getting the chance to go on a helisking trip once in there lives. It really is the ultimate way to ride the mountains. However with it being so expensive most never get to make it happen.
The last couple years Ive been selling season passes for The Canyons, Snowbird, Park City and Sundance resorts with the Qnetwork. Last year was a record setting high in sales for me, selling around 60+ passes which lead to winning a helisking trip incentive up at Powder Mountain, UT. It wasn't easy, but it definitely paid off.
You can actually get a day pass to Powder Mnt. and take a run in the chopper for $170. That compared to everywhere else is insanely cheap.
Joined by a few new friends and super good skiers Nate Leavit and Geoff Balkman, here's some photos and a little vid I threw together.
Photos shot on Nate's EOS 50DCanon
